For colors, I vote:

easy = pink (iconic, for me at least), red gummy bear lamps (pink light is fine)
yellow = intermediate, yellow gummy bear lamps (yellow light)
Purple = hard, purple gummy bear (purple light)

Turns out the original 3 colors of peeps were pink, yellow & white. "Lavender" was introduced in 1995. Blue was added in 1998.

Maybe some of the baby bunnies in the den are blue, since its the "youngest" peep color!

Oh! And we should find some other place(s) to display gummy bears so we can still use the orange one.

Original gummy bear colors: raspberry (red); orange (orange); strawberry (green); pineapple (colourless); and lemon (yellow).

Colorless is dumb, so I replaced it with purple, and green would be fine if it wasn't confused with/ dominated by a nearby hedge color.

Hmm... personally, I've never really associated the colors of pink-easy, yellow-intermediate, purple-hard in video games.. I don't mind the colors though, so I will leave my vote with what the art director wants Wink

I will say that I'm not married to them in that order. We could just as well say purple is easy (purple is a calming color), yellow is medium (traditional transition color, ie stoplights), pink is hard (red is typical, but peeps are pink).

I just wanted to set the zones to iconic peep colors, and match to iconic gummy colors whenever possible.

Let's do a Decider at Tuesday's after class meeting.

Sounds good to me! The pink, blue, and green are really just placeholders.

Joni has informed me that although she's sick today and can't really vote, she also has no attachment to any particular bunny color.

Forgot to add: if pink and purple are too similar for playtesters we can:

a. change purple to white/clear
b. change the candy cane colors
c. both
d. something else
